Possible tuition increases for community college/university partnerships

Ohio State University is pitching a way around the state college tuition freeze, allowing Ohio universities and community colleges that form partnerships to increase charges up to 3 percent annually.

The idea is based on so-called 2+2 bachelor's degree programs, where students earn their associate's degree at community college, then take their junior and senior years at a partnering four-year state university. Ohio State partners with Columbus State Community College.
