Pennsylvania State University selects Examity
The Pennsylvania State University has selected Examity, the world leader in online proctoring software and support, as its test integrity solution.
The agreement allows Examity to provide proctoring as of January 2017. The initial rollout will begin with Penn State World Campus, the University’s highly ranked online campus, and will consist of a select number of exams with an expansion expected in the summer of 2017.
“We are looking forward to working together to provide additional integrity to the students and institution,” said Michael London, president and CEO at Examity.
Penn State World Campus offers both undergraduate and graduate degree and certificate programs online to more than 13,000 students across the globe.
“The online courses provided through Penn State World Campus allow students to learn at their convenience without stepping onto a campus,” said Rick Shearer, Director of Penn State World Campus Learning Design. “Examity’s flexible scheduling complements that convenience, while promoting security around the administration of online exams.”
Examity has recently been selected to provide online proctoring at several higher-education institutions to include University of Arizona, University of Wisconsin Colleges, and Texas A&M University. The Pennsylvania State University’s involvement with Examity will accelerate company growth and promote worldwide test integrity.
Examity was founded in 2013 to meet the needs of the growing number of online education, certification and degree programs looking to ensure the integrity of their exams. Examity provides a cost effective, flexible and tailorable test integrity solution including live, recorded and fully automated solutions. Examity has partnered with hundreds of schools and certification programs nationwide. Examity is headquartered in Natick, Massachusetts.
