Ark. college plans to opt out of campus carry bill
Governor Asa Hutchinson's office said he plans to pull the trigger on the controversial campus carry bill, despite statewide opposition from law enforcement and colleges.
The final version of the bill requires concealed-carry permit holders age 21 or older to complete up to eight hours of additional training.
After they receive this enhanced permit, they can concealed carry at public colleges, airports, polling places, sporting events, most state offices and the state capitol
