NY Times Higher Ed Leaders Forum to be held June 20-21

College and university leaders will address the most urgent issues on today's campuses

This June, The New York Times will bring together the most influential leaders in higher education — presidents, provosts, chancellors and other leaders of colleges and universities — to address the most urgent issues on today’s campuses.

In interviews with education experts, Times journalists will seek new solutions to the challenges posed by race and free-speech dilemmas, the STEM-humanities debate, sexual assault, the crisis in public funding of education, and much more. A unique feature of this influential event will be collaborative, peer-to-peer roundtables that allow participants to share ideas and perspectives, and to add their voices — namelessly, if they wish — to discussions of some of the most controversial topics in education.

The discussions at the Higher Ed Leaders Forum will be covered in a special section of The New York Times and on

Participation is limited to senior leaders of accredited colleges and universities. Apply to attend at Registration cost is $1,000.
