The new complex, which will adjoin FAU Stadium, includes an academic success center along with an indoor football field, two outdoor fields, a sports medicine center, a strength and conditioning center, meeting rooms, and offices.

A museum showcasing the institution’s athletic history is also featured. HKS Architects Inc. (Orlando) is the architectural and engineering firm while DPR Construction (West Palm Beach) serves as the construction management firm. The $40 million complex is scheduled to be completed by July 2018.

Eagles Landing
Champlain College (Vermont)

Champlain College is partnering with the city of Burlington for a student housing and mixed-use retail complex to provide needed student residential space. The $36 million, six-story project is located downtown, giving students easy access to local culture, retail and entertainment offerings.

The complex features 105 apartment units—including 314 beds dedicated to Champlain College students, who reside over 5,200 square feet of ground-level commercial space.

Additional public parking is also being created. Gardner Kilcoyne (Williston, Vermont) is the project’s architect and HP Cummings (Ware, Massachusetts) is construction manager. August 2018 is the anticipated completion date.

In addition, the facility supports entrepreneurial efforts, such as ventures related to cybersecurity.

To meet the institution’s standards, it is being built to LEED gold standards.
