West Chester University hires VP of administration and finance
Janice Orlov has been named vice president for administration and finance at West Chester University in Pennsylvania.
She will oversee the university’s finance, budget and business services, as well as human resources, labor relations, payroll, environmental health and safety, organizational development, public safety and emergency management, and facilities.
Reporting directly to the president, Orlov will be a member of the president’s cabinet and the liaison with external auditors, the auditor general’s office, and internal auditors assigned to the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
Orlov previously served as senior director of finance and administration for the office of provost administrative affairs at the University of Pennsylvania, and as managing director of finance and operations at UPenn’s Wharton School.

- Lynn M. Morton is the new president of Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. She plans to build more connections between academic programs and the local community, with a strong emphasis on the liberal arts. Lynn recently worked as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina.
- Angela Blanton has been named vice president for finance and CFO at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. In her previous role as director of operations at the university, she managed business and finance functions.
