You recently implemented the SAP Human Resources System, and prior to that you adopted the SAP Financials and Budget System. What was behind these moves?
We wanted features that would support a large research university.
As colleges and universities increasingly implement wireless Internet access, teaching and learning can occur anywhere on campus. Now, with NEC’s Mobile WLAN, the concept of connections without boundaries extends even further to anywhere in North, Central and South America.
Today's campus communities are more connected than ever, but at many colleges and universities the task of immediately notifying everyone about an emergency remains a challenge.
What is the history and background of your SAP implementations?
We started out in the ‘97-’98 academic year, with implementations of SAP Financials and SAP HR. We went live with a portion of the Campus Management product in December of 2004.
