Youngstown State University formally welcomes new president

Youngstown State University formally welcomes their new president.

On Friday, Dr. Randy Dunn was formally installed as the university's eighth president.

Dunn has been in office since July and has already addressed issues including declining enrollment, budget cuts, and layoffs.

Dunn told reports he even considered canceling the installation ceremony as a cost saving measure.

"We did have some debate as to whether or not to do the ceremony given cost constraint and some of the things the university has had to do in terms of budget retrenchment," said Dunn.
