Yale Offers Virtual Guided Tour to Prospective Students

Prospective students and their families around the globe can now walk through Yale’s campusright from the comfort of their homesvia several platforms including Yale’s website, Facebook page and smartphone mobile apps. 

Recognizing the fact that students are evaluating campuses online and that many outstanding candidates lack the time and resources necessary to travel to visit Yale’s campus, the university recently partnered with virtual tour company YouVisit to offer guided tours of the historic institution. 

Recognizing the fact that students are evaluating campuses online and that many outstanding candidates lack the time and resources necessary to travel to visit Yale’s campus, the university recently launched YouVisit’s proprietary Walking Tour Technology to support its global recruitment initiatives. Yale is the first school to offer online visitors four different, customized walking tours of its campus, including a general campus walking tour, a residential college tour, a sciences tour, and an athletics tour. The Virtual Campus Visit program, which features walking tours that include rich-media video content and 360-degree panoramic views, is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Mandarin.
