A record number of international students are headed to the College of William and Mary this fall.
The school said Tuesday that it will welcome 468 international students representing 50 countries this school year. An additional 85 new four-year degree-seeking international students are on campus.
Officials say the school's population of international students has doubled over the past five years.
The school's Reves Center for International Studies will also host a first-ever extended orientation program for international students throughout the year. The center also will run a series of programs for international students, including day trips to Washington, D.C., and the Blue Ridge Mountains.
