Washington State regents to take action on capital project construction

The Board of Regents of Washington State University will be asked to authorize capital construction expenditures - the largest $10 million for land acquisition, design and preconstruction for a classroom and office building at North Puget Sound at Everett - when it meets in regular session on the WSU Spokane campus Thursday and Friday.

Funding for design and preconstruction of the 95,000-square-foot facility in Everett, which will primarily support programs in science, technology, engineering and math, was appropriated by the state Legislature earlier this year. The structure will be on the Everett Community College campus.
