University Of South Alabama Police Roll Out New Cruiser To Help Curb Drinking And Driving

A University of South Alabama student gave a thumbs-up to the school’s police chief when he saw the latest weapon against crime on campus.

“It’s an eye-catcher,” said USA Chief Zeke Aull, standing next to a retired police vehicle parked in front of the police station on campus.

Half of the car is painted as a USA police cruiser while the other half looks like a yellow taxi.

It’s part of a new program on campus called “Choose Your Ride.”
