University of Michigan delays plan to consolidate operations

A plan to reduce costs at the University of Michigan by consolidating finance and business operations has been placed on hold, university leaders said Monday.

In a note to the faculty, Provost Martha Pollock, Chief Financial Officer Timothy Slottow and Vice President for Student Life E. Royster Harper said more study needs to be done to address faculty concerns.
