University of Cincinnati officials are working with state and federal investigators after the college received anonymous threats promising to shoot students and bomb the school.
A single call was made to a department on UC's main campus before noon Wednesday by an unknown person saying they were coming to shoot people. At about the same time, a series of bomb threats were made via Twitter to universities across Ohio, university officials said.
UC did not believe the phone call or tweets were credible when they were made. University and Cincinnati police did meet on campus as a precaution.
