Students and staff members at the University of Central Oklahoma unofficially broke the Guinness World Record this week with 872 people making a continuous chain of “thumb war.”
“We are excited,” said Kay Robinson, director of campus activities. “It was a lot of fun.”
Participants' hands had to stay locked together continuously for five minutes while being photographed and recorded on video. There were 21 witnesses to verify their actions.
