UConn suspends three more Greek organizations

The University of Connecticut has suspended a fraternity and two sororities for hazing, providing alcohol to people younger than 21 and conduct that endangers students.

The Greek organizations were notified Monday of the university's action and have until Friday to file an appeal.

As a result of the suspensions, Sigma Chi fraternity and the Delta Gamma and Delta Zeta sororities will lose their chapter registrations, university recognition and on-campus housing, the university said Tuesday.
