The University of Vermont and the faculty union have reached an agreement on a new contract, UVM announced Wednesday.

Details of the agreement, subject to ratification by the union, were not released. The Burlington Free Press has filed a public records request for the agreement.

The last contract for the full-time bargaining unit of United Academics expired June 30. Negotiations reached an impasse in September and entered a mediation phase. The settlement was announced two days after the last mediation session.
