The president of the University of Michigan says a six-month delay in reporting to police that child porn was allegedly found on a computer flash drive in a locked hospital lounge shows a "serious failure" at the school and "poor judgment" by several employees.
Mary Sue Coleman's issued a statement Friday along with the Ann Arbor school's review of what happened at University of Michigan hospital.
Coleman says changes are being made.
AnnArbor.com reported earlier this year that a female resident told University of Michigan hospital officials in May that she saw child porn on a flash drive she found in the Pediatric Emergency Department lounge. Security didn't report it to police until Nov. 21.
