U. of Kentucky breaks ground on $65M business college expansion

The University of Kentucky broke ground and revealed the building design Friday of the $65 million renovation and expansion of its Gatton College of Business and Economics.

The project is part of UK’s overall capital improvement plan, which was approved earlier this year by the Kentucky General Assembly and signed by Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear.

No state tax dollars will be used in any of the UK construction projects, which also include a new science building and improvements to UK’s football facilities and Commonwealth Stadium.
