Two new leaders have been picked to lead Tidewater Community College's Portsmouth and Norfolk campuses.
Marvin L. Bright will become provost of the Norfolk campus on Feb. 1. Previously he oversaw student services at Suffolk County Community College, a school of 26,000 students in Selden, N.Y., according to a news release from TCC.
Michelle W. Woodhouse has been serving as interim provost of the Portsmouth campus. A ceremony giving her the permanent position will be held Feb. 3.
Woodhouse was dean for social sciences and public services at TCC's Virginia Beach campus for five years. She is a lifelong Chesapeake resident, according to the news release.
