T2 Systems, Inc., a technology-focused provider of parking systems, has integrated the T2 Flex unified parking management platform with the Blackboard Transact OneCard payment system. Blackboard Inc. is a leader in the campus ID card industry for its seamless integration of next-generation commerce and security solutions. T2’s integration with the Blackboard Transact platform enables parkers to pay with their OneCard, which ultimately increases the value of universities’ parking management and Blackboard Transact payment systems and extends a favorite campus payment application to parking payments.
“This integration provides a lot of value for our higher education customers as a customer service and revenue generating tool,” said Irena Goloschokin, T2 Executive Vice President of Strategy and Products.“T2 unifies and streamlines parking management functions through technology leadership, and our integration with Blackboard does exactly that,” said Goloschokin.
T2’s integration with Blackboard Transact serves student and university needs by employing familiar technology to enable cardholders to pay for books, meals, and now parking, with the same card.
“We are committed to offering our clients technology that can integrate with our core transaction system so each school can choose the technology that best supports their unique operational requirements,” commented David Marr, president of Blackboard Transact. “Our partnership with T2 enables clients to more efficiently manage campus parking options using the same convenient campus card that they use for other on-campus purchasing and access control. Using a single integrated credential enhances the level of customer service to students and faculty members, as well as improving overall campus security.
