Student Dies After Fall At St. Peter's College

Police say a 27-year-old St. Peter's College student died after jumping from a third-floor bathroom window in an apparent suicide.

Jersey City Police deputy chief Peter Nalbach says witnesses told officers they heard a man yelling before the sound of glass breaking Tuesday night. The man landed on a loading dock outside a building that houses classrooms and offices.

Nalbach says the man sustained multiple fractures.

Police are withholding the student's name until after his relatives have been notified.
