Specificity key when highlighting university successes

Colorado Springs is well known for being a training hub for Olympic athletes, a legacy the city and university hope to expand with the City for Champions project, a regional tourism act that hopes to bring in $120 million in state sales tax revenues over the next 30 years.

That money would go fund an Olympic museum, downtown stadium and events center, Air Force Academy visitor’s center and – of course – sports medicine center at UCCS.

But how much is known about the specifics of UCCS’ role in the project, including the $13 million it would receive from the state?
