Search begins for Dixie State University president

Members of the state Board of Regents on Friday authorized a search committee to begin the process of seeking a replacement for Dixie State University President Stephen Nadauld, who will retire as the school’s chief executive after the end of the school year.

The search committee will be led by Regent Wilford Clyde, according to Pamela Silberman, director of communications for Utah System of Higher Education. The committee will be composed of Board of Regents representatives, DSU trustees, faculty and staff members, students, alumni and community members, Silberman said in a news release.

Nadauld, 71, announced his pending retirement late last month, calling his presidency at Dixie State a satisfying capstone to his career.
