Rutgers president receives $90,000 bonus, will donate back to students

Rutgers President Robert Barchi was awarded a $90,000 bonus, but said he will donate the money to undergraduate student aid at the New Jersey university.

Barchi has overseen several sports scandals, as well as the school's merger with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, The Star-Ledger reported.

Barchi, who earns $650,000, was told of the bonus last week after he received a positive performance review, documents indicate.
