Private funding sought for new Jefferson Community and Technical College campus

When Donna Miller began as director of Jefferson Community and Technical College’s Bullitt County branch in 2007, it had only four students.

They took college-level algebra, psychology, writing and biology courses at Bullitt Central High School during the fall session that year, and as interest in the college began to grow, Miller and other officials found space to accommodate more students.

But today, with nearly 1,100 students on a 28,000-square-foot campus in Shepherdsville, the college is facing its tightest space crunch ever.
