PCC provost leaving for Colorado post

The provost of Pima Community College is leaving after a little more than a year on the job.

Jerry Migler has accepted a position as vice president of academic affairs for the Colorado Community College System. He starts work there Dec. 16.

The Tucson school made the announcement in a news release Tuesday.

Migler started at PCC in August 2012 and was job-hunting anew within six months. In February, he was named a semifinalist, but wasn’t hired, for a president’s position at a small college in North Dakota.
