Parents Sue UT Arlington Over Student's Death After Treatment At Campus Clinic

Two Tarrant County residents have filed a wrongful-death suit against the University of Texas at Arlington after their son died a week after he was treated at the school’s clinic. Min Gu Choi, 21, died July 10, eight days after he sought treatment for a knee injury at UT Arlington’s Health Services clinic. Young Ok Choi and Oh Soon Choi said their son, a UTA engineering student, was not properly treated. The parents are each seeking $8 million in compensation. The UT System has declined to comment, as is routine with pending litigation.
