The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is examining a computer belonging to a Langston University administrator, the bureau confirmed Wednesday.
The computer had been assigned to Charles King, Langston's vice president for institutional advancement and development, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.
At the request of the Langston University Police Department, OSBI officials are examining King's computer for anything illegal that may be on it, Brown said. Brown wouldn't give the reason for the police department's request.
Langston police Maj. Stan Timmons wouldn't comment on the request, saying he was unfamiliar with the case.
