Oregon State kicks off $125 million in construction

With summer in full swing, students at Oregon State University have been replaced by construction workers. The university has $125 million in construction projects underway and another $145 million in projects planned.

And that's in addition to $27 million in construction on a new OSU Beaver store and the university's basketball center.

The projects — which add up to nearly $300 million — were paid for with state tax dollars, student fees, bond revenue and philanthropic gifts from wealthy donors.
