Representatives from The 11-10-02 Foundation reached out to OCCC after the national coverage of the May tornadoes.

“Like many people who live outside Oklahoma, we were deeply touched by how the people of that great state came together following the tornadoes — and we were especially moved by what we saw and read about the work of the first responders. Lealon Taylor, OCCC's executive director of institutional advancement, said, “We are very excited to receive this gift from The 11-10-02 Foundation, as these will be our first scholarships solely dedicated to our paramedic program.”
