Students at the tiny Christian college where a gunman killed seven people and wounded three in a rampage this week are waiting for a police probe to advance enough to allow them to return to class.
Oakland police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said in an email late Thursday that the school was a “large crime scene’’ and that police could not say when they would be finished with their investigation.
Nam Soo Woo, an acting vice president at Oikos University, said the progress of the police investigation would determine when students and administrators would be allowed to go back.
“We are very upset, so far we couldn’t do much because we couldn’t get in,’’ he said late Thursday. “It depends on police.’’
