Oakwood University Finishes Second In National HBCU Academic Competition

Oakwood University finished second out of 48 Historically Black Colleges and Universities in a national academic competition last weekend.

Oakwood received a $25,000 grant for its runner-up finish in the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge that was held in Torrance, Calif., near Los Angeles.

Morgan State won the competition, edging Oakwood 2-to-1 in a best-of-three final round competition.
