Nova Southeastern Creates Nursing School

The new year will bring a new academic college to Nova Southeastern University in Davie, as the school is separating its fast-growing nursing program into its own College of Nursing. Nova currently serves about 1,500 nursing students combined at its main campus along with satellite educational centers in Miami, Palm Beach, Fort Myers and Orlando. Nova’s nursing program started in 2004 with a mere 40 students. Until now, the nursing program was housed in Nova’s College of Allied Health and Nursing.
