Not many ask to carry concealed at Wyo. colleges

Few students ask to have guns on Wyoming campuses, and when they do, the answer is likely to be “no.”

Students at one of the state’s community colleges or the University of Wyoming have the ability to ask if they can have a concealed carry weapon on campus, according to state statute.

Students first have to get the request approved in writing by the school’s security office, and they also have to have a concealed carry permit.
