Dr. Juliette Bell is the newly-elected President of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.  Bell says she looks forward to everything that comes with presiding over  the historically black college, including the challenges.

"I am about finding solutions," Bell said. "Not only do I want to hear about the challenges from the perspective of the individuals who are a part of that, but I want to hear what their solutions are, what their ideas are. We're about solving whatever issues are there so that we can move forward."

Bell has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, as well as a strong background in science technology, engineering and mathematics.
