Jim and Corinne Haviley took a few steps into their son Jonathan's new apartment Friday, eyes darting around the unit to inspect the fixtures, furniture and finishes of the unit.
They had agreed to move their son, a Xavier University senior, into the recently completed apartments near campus, sight unseen.
"This is gorgeous. This is awesome," Corinne Haviley said after resting on the small brown leather couch in the University Station apartment. Minutes after walking through the apartment, Corinne and her husband also gained an appreciation for the in-unit washer and dryer and in knowing their son and his roommate wouldn't have to share a bathroom.
