North Dakota's Supreme Court is hearing arguments on the Fighting Sioux nickname dispute next week.
The court today scheduled arguments in the case for 3 p.m. March 15.
The Board of Higher Education is suing to block a June statewide vote on a North Dakota law that says the University of North Dakota's sports teams must be known as the Fighting Sioux.
The board is suing Secretary of State Al Jaeger. Supporters of the nickname and the North Dakota Legislature have intervened in the case. The Supreme Court will be hearing arguments from all four sides.
