Montclair State University partners with CASE Parking and Streetline

CASE Parking, a parking data solutions provider and Streetline, Inc., a leader in smart parking solutions, today announced a collaboration to provide the Montclair State University campus with parking garage occupancy and guidance information for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

CarParc Diem—Montclair’s 7.5 story, 1,532-car capacity parking structure – serves as the backbone of Montclair State University’s parking ecosystem. By leveraging smart parking technology to provide continuous, real-time counts of available parking at CarParc Diem, as wellas providing parking data and information for surrounding lots to students, staff and visitors, Montclair is taking a giant leap forward in parking service and value. Motorists on campus will easily be able to determine where to park, resulting in reduced vehicle traffic and emissions on campus while increasing safety. In addition, Montclair State University will receive revolutionary analytics that reveal permit oversell ratios and help balance event and student parking occupancy—all from a customized web-based dashboard.

Streetline’s award-winning smartphone app and consumer web widget,Parker and ParkerMap,will enable drivers to see how many parking spaces are presently unoccupied, where the parking structure is located and provide turn-by-turn directional guidance to the facility. The real-time parking lot occupancy data is captured and fed into the web based analytics and reporting dashboard, as well as Streetline’s apps, via CASE Parking’s proprietary Counts in the Cloud technology, launched to market in 2013 to enable parking operators to collect invaluable car count data.
