The school announced the appointment of MaryAnn Baenninger on Monday but did not disclose her salary. She will assume her new post on July 21, becoming the first full-term female president in Drew’s 147-year history.
Baenninger will replace interim president Vivian Bull, a former longtime economics professor at Drew who also was president emerita of Linfield College in Oregon. She has led the Madison-based university since Robert Weisbuch stepped down in June 2012
