Mid-South Community College president lauded for career contributions

Glen Fenter, president of Mid-South Community College, has been recognized by Southern Business & Development magazine as one of “Ten People Who Made a Difference in the South.”

The list appears in Southern Business & Development’s 11th Annual Top 10s Edition.

Fenter has led the growth of Mid-South Community College’s workforce development training courses over the last five years. In 2012, the school received more than $6 million in grants to launch or expand workforce development programs, including a $2.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to add instructors for its production, welding, machining and renewable energy programs.
