Miami University seeks $25M to feed flurry of construction

Miami University will seek $25 million in state funding for new construction projects on its campuses, Dayton Business Journal reports.

The three construction projects approved by the board of trustees that would require funding are part of the 2015-2020 capital improvements request that will be submitted to the state.

Some of the projects include a $22.8 million renovation to Shideler Hall, an $800,000 renovation of the Mosler Hall Science Laboratory on its Hamilton campus, and $500,000 in IT and electrical upgrades at the Gardner-Harvey Library in Middletown.
