Miami Dade College Maintenance Worker Discovers Professor’s Body In Bathroom

A maintenance man making his morning rounds came across a dead professor in the bathroom at Miami Dade College, police said Tuesday.

After taking a jog around the Kendall campus on Monday, the adjunct professor went into a restroom. He was found dead in his running clothes at 7 a.m. by the janitor, according to college officials.

Miami-Dade police spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta said the man, in his 60s, died of a heart attack. Police would not release his name.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue went to the bathroom on campus, 11011 SW 104th St,. but could not revive the professor.
