Longhorns Are No. 1 In The Nation In Sales, Beat Out A&M In Vanity Plates

Stand proud, Longhorn Nation. For the seventh consecutive year, you’ve made the University of Texas at Austin the top seller of licensed college merchandise in the country.

Take that, Aggies.

The news came last month from the Collegiate Licensing Company, which tracks such things. The University of Alabama was second. Texas A&M came in 19th in the rankings of the top 75 universities.

Austin vanity license plate vendor Myplates.com says, not surprisingly, that UT tops its college plate sales, with A&M second.
