Lone Star teams with FMC Technologies to train employees

Lone Star College System and FMC Technologies have opened a shared Fluid Control Services Training Lab for service technicians at the Lone Star College Energy & Manufacturing Institute.

“Lone Star Corporate College works with many forward thinking companies like FMC Technologies that recognize the importance of ongoing technical education for their employees,” said Marshall Schott, associate vice chancellor, academic affairs. “Lone Star Corporate College is committed to helping companies develop training programs to advance a business's most important asset, human capital.”

“Having a lab on the same campus as the Learning Center Houston will provide the perfect balance of classroom and hands-on training for service technicians,” said Chris Bartlett, director of global learning and knowledge management at FMC Technologies. “The School of Applied Technology is proud to support this pioneering effort in training for our technical service personnel.”
