Liao-Troth named Hawaii Pacific University's First Provost

Hawaii Pacific University has appointed its first provost to oversee the 7,500-student campus.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (http://bit.ly/10jdCav ) reports Matthew Liao-Troth has been tapped to help manage the private university.

Liao-Troth was interim provost at Georgia College & State University. Before he went into academia, he was a division executive with the Boy Scouts of America.
