Don't tell Lehigh University general counsel Frank Roth that a C+ grade or a zero score in classroom participation isn't fair.
As an alumnus of the south Bethlehem school, he says he's done worse.
"I think I got some zeros," Roth said Tuesday in Northampton County Court. "I got some Cs at Lehigh too."
Roth spoke as he defended the university's decision to give a C+ to Megan Thode, a graduate student who unsuccessfully sued Lehigh for $1.3 million over the grade, which she charged scuttled her dream of becoming a licensed professional counselor.
