Law firm hired to probe UConn's handling of sex misconduct allegations

The Office of the Attorney General said Monday it has selected a Philadelphia law firm to investigate the University of Connecticut's handling of allegations that a music professor engaged in sexual misconduct.

In mid-July, UConn announced that it would ask Attorney General George Jepsen to solicit proposals to retain an outside law firm to conduct an independent investigation of the university's handling of allegations against Robert Miller, 66, a former head of the music department who has worked at UConn since 1982.
