Vice President for Business Services and College Facilities, Brad McCormick, has been named the Region 5 “Outstanding Community College Business Officer of the Year” by the Community Colleges Business Officers Association.

The award is presented annually to individuals who demonstrate excellence and exceptional service in their duties as a community college Chief Financial Officer.

John A. Logan College president Mike Dreith nominated McCormick for the award and believes that he is one of the best CFOs in the country.

“In my 14-year tenure as a community college president at three different locations, I can say without a doubt that Brad is the most knowledgeable CFO with whom I have had the honor to serve,” Dreith said. “He is a man of integrity who holds himself to high ethical standards. He is respectful of others’ views and always works to bring people together to seek solutions to problems.”
