Jacksonville University breaks ground on $8M health sciences building

About 60 people gathered by the Davis College of Business at Jacksonville University Monday morning for the ceremonial ground breaking of a new health sciences building.

The building is a part of the university's Aspire campaign, which seeks to raise $85 million for new buildings, technology and programs by 2016.

President Tim Cost said graduates of the university’s health programs stay in the region and work locally because of the planning and execution of health care businesses in the area.
